We work with attorneys on a regular basis on civil and criminal cases regarding divorce, commercial damages, breach of contract, personal injury, lost earnings/wages, etc.  In addition, we assist insurance companies on a regular basis in the review of long-term disability claims. We analyze financial reporting, including income prior to disability and part-time earnings, and identify situations that require further investigation as to policy compliance.

Forensic Accounting Case Study
Meg Holland & Associates, PC, CPA, documented a 10-year cash embezzlement scheme in a major manufacturing corporation for the law department to assist in prosecution. While performing various departmental analysis work in conjunction with our forensic review, we uncovered another fraud involving vendor selection and charges. The result? Further investigation indicated that a kickback scheme was in place, and our investigation documented more than $100,000 in misappropriated funds. Controls were established to prevent this from happening in the future.
